We had known each other since our university days in the UK, exchanging the occasional conversation but nothing more. In 2019, we had a brief chat about modern relationships and how finding the right person felt almost impossible. Amaka said, “You never know, you might meet someone that’ll make you reconsider.” Little did we know that those words would hold true for us years later.
Fast forward to 2023, a casual exchange on Instagram changed everything. A playful comment turned into a deeper connection, and soon we found ourselves communicating daily. From virtual date nights to thoughtful gestures and meaningful conversations, we both knew this was something special.
One month later, we met in London during one of Manny’s work trips, and everything fell into place instantly. The connection felt natural, the chemistry was effortless, and the rest, as they say, is history.
