Sometimes, you meet someone and even though there’s no instant spark, something still feels familiar, like a quiet reminder that life is not done with your story.
That’s exactly how it was for Dolapo and Oyin. They first crossed paths back in university. Dolapo was Oyin’s senior, and even though they knew of each other, life didn’t connect them then. But after school, fate swung the door open again, and this time, their hearts were ready.
What started as simple conversations slowly grew into something deeper. They found comfort in each other, laughed easily, and enjoyed those long talks that you don’t want to end. Before they realised it, a friendship had blossomed into pure love.

Their Love Story (as shared by Oyin):
“We first met in university. He was my senior, and even though we knew each other from a distance, nothing really started then. After he graduated, life brought us back together; and that’s when things shifted for us.
We began with simple conversations, but it didn’t stay simple for long. We laughed a lot, shared deeper talks, and somewhere along the line, we realised a bond had formed. Our friendship grew into love so naturally that it felt like it had always been waiting for the right time.
Since then, everything has felt intentional, full of love, growth, and little moments that mean everything. Looking back makes us smile, and looking forward gives us so much excitement. We know the most beautiful parts of our story are still ahead.”
